Does anyone have any tips on how to study for SIMS for FAR? I’m using Becker and I purchased NINJA (have not started on NINJA) . Do you try to do it and then study the answers? Becker’s explanations for SIMS are not helpful as for the MCQs. I took FAR once already and I’m hoping this will be my last time.

I kept the SIMS for last. I found I got too overwhelmed if I tried to do the SIMS right after MCQs. I did find the SIMS to be great practice though and really hit home some concepts I was having trouble with. I think if you have a good foundation of topics already the SIMS are just another way to challenge yourself and whether you know the topic enough or not. That way the explanations wont seem so foreign if you already have a good base of the topic from doing lectures and MCQs. However, if you feel the are not helpful don't waste your time and maybe try out Ninja then.
