    Wiley Question –

Has anyone noticed how touchy CPA excel can be? Meaning if you do a journal entry and record it correctly in the simulations but don’t record the line items in the order that Cpaexcel put in as the correct answer you could get wrong answers. Same with journal entries with extra lines, you have to fill in everything with zeros or you will get points taken off. This made me pretty nervous today when I sat for FAr and had to set up journal entries. Did I guess the right order? Can I hopefully assume that the AICPA grading structure is more sophisticated than CPAexcel?

I think the pass rate would be much lower if the actual test graded sims as poorly as most of the test banks do! It must be more sophisticated. Don't stress out about that!

I would also like to gripe about their database. I was thrown a curve ball in reg when I realized how different search results showed up versus CPA excel. And how much bigger the database was. I was under the false assumption it would look the same and the research question took me about ten minutes because of that.

But I agree with Kim, it is probably a more sophisticated grading system. Maybe that is part of why it takes so long to get scores

Y u no pass, I completely agree about the research question too. They even market one wrong and the answer that they gave was clearly not accurate.
