   Hi Jeff:
   I found from AICPA website that only one simulation is marked in all three exams other than BEC.
   A student's exam., strategy should be to do both, but if student is running out of time, then if he/she is fully concentrating on completion of one simulation and is not trying other simulation, how AICPA's marker will consider it i.e; "incomplete exam or complete exam?
   There is any policy of AICPA in this matter?

   Both sims are graded - only one written comm. is graded. The best strategy is to answer the written comm on sim #2 first when you get to it and then do what you can. I think they grade the sim based on the number of blanks you fill in....just my guess.

   Is the communication read and graded by an actual live being, or the computer?

   REG - 75 (expired, retake July 2011)
   FAR - 69, 64, 67 <-Becker, 80 <-Yaeger
   AUD - 82 ETHICS - 100
   BEC - 72 (retake May 2011)

   Hi CPAWannaBe:

   I am very sure that communication is graded by an actual live being.

   By mistake, in the end days, I developed this idea that if I would get small time for simulations, then I would briefly define the question in communication part and that would be enough for me to pass. But it was technically wrong, the brief but complete reply was the answer. I failed FAR by 74 due to my final minute poor planning.

   I know that all exams in CPA are tricky, so now I am preparing all stuff for my new exam on Jan 18, 2010.

   Hey Jeff,

   I know this is old, so maybe I'm missing something. Were you joking about the way they grade simulations? Just by the number of blanks filled in? That would be awesome haha.
