First of all, when his name popped up on the Audit 4 lecture, it threw me off a little bit – I thought Gearty and Olinto were the only lecturers for the Becker videos?

Second, and this might sound a bit crazy, but am I the only one who hears Seth Rogen during the lectures? It’s hard for me to concentrate on the lectures because I just imagine the guy from Knocked Up trying to explain statistical sampling to me.

I like Mike Brown a lot! He explains the lectures really well and so clearly, you don't need to thoroughly read the chapter he teaches.

I LOVE BROlinto. I think he's the most entertaining so far. He can keep me engaged in the video for quite a while.

Mike Brown is not bad at all. I did like him in Audit. Whether or not I passed audit is a different story, however.

I've gotten to the point where I absolutely loathe Gearty. I feel like the only thing he ends up saying is “AGAIN” or “WELCOME BACK SCHOLARS, HOPE YOU DID REAL WELL ON THOSE MULTIPLE CHOICE QUESTIONS” or “AND WITH THAT, YOU'RE READY TO TRY SOME MORE MULTIPLE CHOICE QUESTIONS” or “HEY GANG”

@leeconolly I'm going through the Becker Final Review and Mike Brown is there as well for A4 and I also hear Rogen. I'm so glad it's not Gearty. I hear “Again” many times throughout the day. I also think I'm starting to talk that way. It's funny when Gearty says “Again” about 3 times in one sentence and it shows up that way in the Subtitles.

Who's Mike Brown? I remember Mike Potenza, but never heard of Brown. I'm guessing he was added in this year?

@chakdey I have Becker 2012 and I think Gearty did the whole thing, but because of the exam change I got a free update, considered Becker 2013 “Audit B.” Michael Brown does lectures for A4 and A5 in Audit B. He also comes out in A4 of the Becker final review and one part of A5 in the Becker Final Review.

I really liked Mike Brown's lecturing for A4-5. He was like a very happy medium between Gearty's highlighting and Olinto's in depth explanations.

Mike Brown is great. Outside of the AUD lecture, he was my professor for my FAR online course and was very helpful and gave great answers to every question I had (and I had alot). In my opinion, he should be doing some FAR lectures too.

HA! I have been listening to Mike Brown lecturing and I cannot stop thinking how much he sounds like Seth Rogen. Surely, I knew other ninjas would feel the same 🙂 Props to the A71 search feature!
