Winter is the best time to study because you have less distractions. I had to study during the summer and it was awful thinking I could be outside enjoying the weather.

@mw798 – as long as the internet exists and I have access to it, it doesn't matter what season it is- I'm still distracted. lol

tncincy – you're snowed in? If I remember right, I'm not too terribly far away from you, but we're not snowed in here – we're just worried about being flooded in. River that runs through town is supposed to be 37.6 feet above normal levels at its crest – last time it did that, there was extensive flooding. 😐 If the rain comes as snow instead, we'll be snowed in, but less likely to have flooding damage.

yes, freezing rain storm….streets turned to ice in a matter of minutes. schools, banks, post office. everybody closed early. All except Walmart and McDonald. I had to close shop early as well. I took my last client at 3:30 the streets were covered at 4:00

Nothing will be open tomorrow…..unless the sun comes out which is not supposed to happen. Nothing above freezing. So I guess I'm in to do insane mcq's.

@tncincy We didn't get that storm till overnight (was supposed to start around midnight), but this morning everything is covered in ice and sleet. Was really hoping to make it back to work today cause my first major deadline in my new job is a month away and due to turnover, we're behind (not public, but still have a deadline in early April), but doesn't look like that's going to happen today. 😐 Let's hope for some sun for the KY/TN area!!

@mla I used to live pretty far north in MI – whenever we get storms like this, I miss being somewhere that the county has the equipment to take care of it. Couple weeks ago we got about 8″ of snow, and my road wasn't touched by plow or salt truck, just waited for the sun to melt it off a week later…too much for my little car to push through so I was housebound, but back in MI, it would've been plowed before sunup. Having the equipment to deal with the storm makes all the difference!
