So I am taking FAR August 27th, It took me 3 months to go through the whole wiley book once. Now I am currently reviewing everything which I started on the 16th. I Review the chapters take notes and do the MCQ for that section in the WTB after. The problem is it is literally taking me a whole day to review one chapter and do the MCQ for that chapter. I have been working backwards from NFT, Currently reviewed (NFT, Govt, Foreign currency translation/transaction, Partnership, segment, interim, personal, derivative, statement of CF, Investments, SHE) I am reviewing deferred Taxes right now but with only 6 days left I am getting really nervous. I feel like deferred taxes alone will take up most of my day today. I will get through 500 MCQ on the WTB for the chapters I have covered by the end of today.. currently my average score is a 69%. I also need to review SIMs.. Anyone else freaking out?…..Sigh okay ill get back to study mode now…

If it makes you feel better, it takes me about 3-4 days to get through one of becker's chapters (read and/or watch lectures, do all the homework and simulations once) so if its taking you a day to take notes and do all the homework, that's pretty fast!

I am freaking out too but trying to stay calm as much as possible, its really hard, cuz when i start freaking out i can't focus and don't learn anything. Just take a deep breath, i've been trying to read through the notes i'd already taken the first time around, read my flashcards from becker, and even then it doesn't stick UNTIL i practice my MCQS, that is where I really learn this stuff. :/ I score really low on my first set of questions, but as I do more question, my scores get higher because I somehow remember what i had learned a month ago…. keep going man, we are almost done :/ hopefully. praying.

ohhh this is my first ever and its so frightening. its like you feel hopeless that you are never going to pass

i got an 87% on the 90 question progress test i did today. now im going through the sims and writing journal entries. F7 sims are soannoying

87 on 90 questions is awesome!! I haven't done a progress test on that many questions yet, i get burnt out so fast. I try to do 10-30 at a time for now. but couple of days before my exam i need to jam. I really want to go through the sims again also but dont know when ill find time for that :/ some of them are really good to test your JE knowledge. good thing this is your first, I definitely wish i had known to take this first.. then AUD, BEC was no joke for me, i struggled, that was my first. REg is my next exam. i'll retake aud sometime next year.

but i honestly dont think i have the answers memorized because it still took me a little bit

Well i used 11 vacation days to review if I dont pass I will be very demoralized.. that being said thinking about failing has motivated me time to get back to it. GL to both of you and lets just keep up the hard work and stay motivated… all we need is a 75..

yes!!! lol praying for a75. some kid- a junior in college- i was talking to at a party and was like the big 4 will give you a 20,000 bonus if you come in top 5-10%..im thinking, wait till you start studying and youll be hoping for a 75.

also, becker simulations..anyone know how realistic they are?

My exam got harder as I progressed through the MC, a good sign but the simulation I had booked two hours for. Used close to the full two hours. Besides the research question, the other simulations will test your knowledge of big topics. It was tough,but passed by sorting through what to use and not use.

I ended up passing with a 83 on 7/19 using a month & half to study while working., not too high to make me slack off, but not too low to make me worry. Taking BEC in 10 days.

Without giving anything away, if I had two SIMs on the same exact (difficult) topic, do you think that increases the likelihood that one of them was the pretest? I sure hope so.

As for my MCQ testlets, I can't tell if mine went medium-medium-hard or medium-hard-hard. The third one was definitely much more difficult, but the second one only felt marginally more difficult than the first =/
