So, what do you do now?

I just took REG yesterday, for the third time. This time I used Becker, Wiley and Ninja Notes and even with 2 months of hard studying, I am not confident that I passed. But I am not sure what to do now. Do I:

    1) wait for the REG results to be released (August 3rd) and continue studying the material until then?

    OR

    2) stay positive and pray for a 75, even though that has not worked in the passed, and start studying for BEC?

If I chose the second option, could I take BEC in 40 days? Is that not enough time to study? I took BEC for the first time about a year ago, but back then, I wasn’t focused on passing, I was forced. Now I am doing it because I want too, and I need some direction.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

you cant take REG again until next window so if you think you can knock out BEC in this window you might as well go for it

    AUD - 75
    BEC - 77
    FAR - 78
    REG - 82
    AUD: 61-67-75 (Thanks ninja aud)
    BEC: 77
    FAR: 78
    REG:69-73-70-82

    Aud-75 3x I knew i never liked you
Bec-77 1x being in the bubble is stressful
Reg-82 4x its not me its you...and no we cant be friends
    Far-78 1x easiest section

Some people may not agree with what I'm about to say, but it's what has worked for me thus far. I am a person who dwells on things, so if I was in your shoes I would be dwelling on the fact that I'm not sure I passed REG. In order to re-focus that energy into something positive, I would move forward with the thought that you passed REG.

Move on to BEC, focus as much energy as you can for the next 40 days (which is enough time if you're dedicated to it), and take BEC. That way, if you passed REG, you're not studying something you don't need to study by assuming you failed that one and re-studying for it. And either way, you will need to do BEC at some point. Why not do it now and knock it out of the park? You could potentially have two out of the way right off the bat. 🙂

    Hope that helps.

REG: 33 (winged it, bad plan), 77

In your opinion, do you think I will forget what I have learned for REG? If I keep studying, I will have all of August and September to drill in REG. If I start BEC, I will lose August to restudy.

Don't dwell on REG. The first time I took it, I was embarrassed that my name was on the front of it and I got a 71. I literally guessed most of the questions; finished an hour and a half early because I just fired through it; and drew an outright blank on all of the sims except the research sim. I am pretty level-headed and don't generally stress over anything, but I was expecting a 50. The moral of the story is you never know what your grade is until you get it.

In any event, I'd start studying for BEC. Forty days is plenty of time to cover the material and review it once and conduct a second review on a few weak points.

Maybe you'll pass REG and BEC and you'll be half way there.

To answer your second post- yes, you will most likely forget most of REG, but it will come back to you when (and if) you study again.

You're probably better off forgetting it anyway- REG is BORING!

Why not use an objective test measurement, ie a practice exam.

If it says you passed then don't restudy, otherwise restudy.

I am amazed how many rely on their judgment, or those of their friends when the answer is available at their fingertips.

That is so long to try to keep fresh on REG– assume you passed and give BEC a shot!

    AUD 84 (1/9/14-Wiley books/TB + free materials)
FAR 83 (5/21/14-the above + NINJA 10 Pt Combo Lite)
    REG 84 (7/9/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC/Notes)
    BEC 76 (10/5/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC)
