Hi everyone, my first post here, so as I said in the subject line, sorry about what I guess is a repetitive topic but going to the point, let’s say I pass one test and in the 18 months window I take the other three and God forbid I don’t pass them. Will I lose the credit for the one I passed? From what I have been reading it seems like I have to pass all four exams in the 18 months to keep the credits. It seems unfair that if I pass three and miss one that I should lose the credits for the three I passed just because of that one.

I have my AUD test schedule to the end of next month. Thanks a bunch!

    Welcome! Hopefully i can help….

It is a rolling 18 months, you need to pass all 4 exams with in 18 months. Every state is a little different on expiration. Example I am in NY and my tests expire at the end of a window so i am going to use that as an example.

I pass AUD Oct 2012 this part expires June of 2014. I pass BEC Jan of 2013, this part expires Sept of 2014. I pass FAR April of 2013 this part expires Dec 2014.

If I do not pass REG till July of 2014 I will only need to retake AUD and pass before my BEC expires in September.

Now some states have the tests expiring 18 months from the actual test date, so be careful my example is only for NY because that is where i am taking the exam.

I am not sure i helped or made it more confusing….

    A - 61, 91!!
    B - 78!
    F - 76!!!
    R - 71, 73, 74, 69, 77!!!!

    Finally done!

This is my 2nd attempt at the exam, I had two parts passed (failed many) and I stupidly quit, big mistake. Now I'm back and with a vengeance!

Louisiana expires 18 months from the test date. I took REG and FAR on the same day trying to hold on to my FAR score. I finally passed REG, thanks to the Ninja Audio, but fell short on FAR and lost it anyway! Losing a score sucks but in the long run, it's just a score. You get back up and keep moving forward. Hopefully this won't happen to you!

I am taking the test through Arizona even though I live in Florida and both States now have the same requirements; at the time I applied I thought they didn't; oh well, no biggie except that Arizona is like Louisiana, it looks like NY has a better deal so maybe I would be better off going with that State. I truly hope that won't happen to me, I appreciate all the encouragement Kricket and congrats on getting your license!

LSNYC, you are going to pass, you can do it, then you will be free! Good luck!!! Soon we will both join the chorus of the ones who passed 😉
