Hi ninjas, I really frustrated because I think I’m on the bubble. I want to know why some people pass with 75? This is not a bubble????? I’m really confused about that. Because, is not supposed every score in the range of 72-78 is re-evaluated??

Probably because they took the test earlier than those who took it the last week of the testing window. Just my opinion.

    BEC 10/13 PASSED 77
    AUD 04/12 PASSED 83
    FAR 08/12 PASSED 76
    REG 02/13 PASSED 76

Licensed in PA on 12/23/13. Yea boy!!

I took my BEC last week on 5/30 but BOA shows that they received my test on 6/1. I didnt receive a score as of today. I am not sure if I'm in the BEC bubble or I'm just in the next score release window.

    AUD - 4/29/13 - 87!
    BEC - 5/30/13 - 75!
    REG - 7/1/13
    FAR - 8/29/13

I took BEC on 5/18 and got my score today of 78. I took the IL test and had a 510 section ID.

The disclaimer states the results are advisory… Does this mean my test will be re-evaluated and there is a chance of a failing grade?

I took BEC on May 31st as well and haven't received my score yet. Not sure if I'm on the bubble or they haven't gotten to release the score yet since I took it the last day of testing.

    BEC - 12/13
    FAR - 5/14
    AUD - 8/14
    REG - 2/15
Passed 6 of 6 CLEP Exam

@govtec, some guys sit on May 29,30, and pass the exam with 89 or more….. I want to believe your theory is right, but, I think we are on the Bubble 80(.

This is just a theory, I have no proof that my theory isn't anything more than hogwash, but it is possible that those who are NOT in the BEC “Bubble” and had scores between 72 and 78 are the people who did well enough or poor enough on the MCQ's that human grading of the WC is not necessary. For example, Candidate X got 85 points on the MCQ's and 15 points on the WC, they could potentially get a score of 74. The exam is weighted between MCQ's and WC, 85% and 15%, roughly. The software could be programmed to put that NTS on an audit list, which means it would get pulled for human grading. If Candidate Y got 90 points on the MCQ's and 8 points on the WC, they could potentially get a weighted score of 77. Basically, they would pass regardless of the WC because the exam is adaptive and they got all of the possible points necessary to pass in the MCQ's.

Or it could be that the AICPA just throws darts at all scores between 72 and 78 to see which ones get pulled for human grading. This is also a possibility. I do not know any of this for fact, it's just a theory. I have seen just as many people in the “Bubble” that ended up passing as those that ended up failing.

@Kricket, I like a lot yours theories, specific the number one. I feel I did a excellent work on the MCQ. The number one, gives me a little faith, because I'm ESL, and I did the WC, but I'm no sure the work I did. So the waitings begins 80).

I have a list of things to do if I pass the Bec exam. 80).

How long are we expected to be in “bubble mode” before we get a score? This is killing me, I live in PA. Since the score is listed as advisory anyway, why don't they just list what it is and make the score change later if need be?

    BEC - 12/13
    FAR - 5/14
    AUD - 8/14
    REG - 2/15
Passed 6 of 6 CLEP Exam
