I took BEC on 10/28. After that I only had FAR left scheduled for Dec 5. My first exam expiries the end of December. I was so sure that I failed that stupid me didn’t study for FAR – work got busy and I decided if I failed BEC anyways I’ll have more time. Well, I passed. By ONE point. I don’t have the luxury of studying nonstop till Dec 5 (not that I think it’s enough anyways) because of work. I’m pretty sure I’m screwed but does anyone have any suggestions?

I’m legit ready to kill myself 🙁

Sorry to hear about your situation. That really stinks, but look at it this way… you passed BEC. Since you don't have time to study FAR and take it by December 6, then start studying and get ready for the Jan/Feb '14 window.

Take the FAR exam anyway!! Go all out the next 10 days!

A colleague studied for only 2 weeks for BEC and got a 70.

Know a coworker that studied for TWO DAYS (or so she claims…) and passed FAR. Hammer away at the more complicated topics that you might struggle with (pensions, bonds, consolidations, etc.) and do light review at stuff you're pretty confident on. Can't hurt to try it, might as well swing for the fences instead of just accepting that a credit will expire. Do as much as you can and hit that test hard!

Definitely take the exam anyway. Since it's fast approaching, go through the MCQs and try to understand as many as possible. If you have NINJA audio (if not, purchase it NOW), listen to it while you're getting ready for work, driving to and from work, any time where you can't focus on reading MCQ&As.

CPA4birthdaypresent and Bird – No, I'm not gonna actually commit suicide lol. But I will cry. A lot 🙁

6silvermoonbeams – I would study like crazy for 10 days but I don't have much time. We're on a deadline for work now so I'm here late every night.

lleon – I'm not confident in anything. Haven't seen this stuff since college.

I don't know if it's worth it to go insane for 10 days and then fail anyways. Maybe I should just accept that I'm an idiot and study for January
