Start with AUD for a May 26th exam date or keep studying FAR-2nd attempt worse!

I took FAR for my second time in April 6th and was shocked at my experience. I had supplemented with Ninja MCQ this time and felt better going in but completely defeated coming out of the exam. Long story short, I am sure I have not passed and I am planning to sit again the earliest date available in the beginning of July.

I need your advice: What what you do in the meantime? Start studying for another exam? (I had initially scheduled AUD for May 26th with the hopes of passing FAR the second time). Study BEC since it has less material to cover? Or continue working on FAR? I am concerned it is a long time until July and I might forget the material until then again.

I have been discouraged and very down for a while but now I need to go back to having a new plan.

I want to profoundly thank all of you that share your stories, they really motivate me to start over and not give up.

I havnt studied FAR at all yet but I think there is some helpful crossover from FAR into AUD (I've read there is anyway). Im studying AUD now and would say its no joke as its alot of memorization and learning for me as Im not an auditor. If I were in your situation (depending on how many parts you've already paid for and whats on your NTS) Id try to pass AUD now and keep studying or doing some FAR at the same time to keep the material fresh as much as possible. In my opinion, 4 months is way to long to prepare for any section as you'll forget the information anyway.

NINJA Mcq test bank is cheap and can serve that purpose of keeping material fresh nicely if your other material expires.

I did FAR first and I'm glad I did. There is a bit of crossover of FAR material into AUD and the latest consensus from recent AUD exam takers is that there are FAR-like SIMS in AUD. If I were you I would go ahead and start studying for AUD right away and take the test at the end of May. Since score release is on May 5th you'd be waiting for another 3 weeks anyways. You might as well make the best of it and start studying for another section or just take the time off but then you'd might obsess over your FAR score. When I failed FAR the first time I had actually to wait that long and ended up taking about a week off and then started studying for almost two weeks for AUD when I found out I failed but I actually decided to drop AUD since I only got to chapter two and start FAR again…thankfully it worked for me and that's another approach you may want to take.

    FAR - (11/01/14) 71 (02/07/15) 79
    AUD - (04/30/15) 86
    BEC - (07/21/15) 73 (10/01/15) 75
    REG - (11/30/15) 55 (05/19/16) 74

Thank you so much for your feedback. I decided I will take your advice and study as much AUD as possible until I find out my score ( I owe my oldest some $$$ towards in upgrade in his game if I pass 🙂 ).

I will have to drop AUD when I find out my failing FAR score but I figured this study time will give me an idea of what AUD is all about so I can tackle next.

I did buy the Ninja MCQ, and I might supplement with the Ninja notes for my next round against FAR.

Yeah. You should definitely start studying for audit. You really never know if you passed anyway. I was pretty sure I failed three of my four exams. I made my username before my first exam's score release because I was certain I failed. My lowest score was a 90. These exams are crazy.
