   I am having a very difficult time focusing on Audit. Any pointers? It was not my strongest area in college, but I find the material to be very dull.

   Hmm...maybe taking solace in that the test doesn't have that many calculations and is more about understanding and careful reading comprehension?

   Or perhaps if you're going to try and be an auditor in public accounting that this is building your knowledge? Or just another step towards having your CPA exams done :P?

   If you are using Becker for AUD, the material is dull. For about $300 you can switch to Lambers for AUD. Garland with Lambers is a dynamic teacher, and for 27 hours he will keep you moving with lectures and multiple choice questions. Go back to Becker after Lambers and you will breeze through Becker and pass!

   Suck it up and do it. That's all I can say about any of this. It's all dull. None of this stuff is the least bit interesting. It all sucks and bores me to death.

   I'm studying for AUD now, and it's dull. I break it down into smaller blocks of study time (max 4 hours) so I can stay focused. But I test in less than 3 weeks and so my motivation comes from not ever wanting to study this stuff again!

   FAR - 92 --- AUD - 87 --- REG - 80 --- BEC - 87
   A licensed CPA in Louisiana!!!
