Hi all,

I’ve been posting on here a lot, but I’ve had a recent thing come up that has dramatically changed my plans and need advice. Right now, I’m pretty much done with FAR and am reviewing. However, I just called the CPA center and they said that it’ll take me at least another 2.5 weeks or so before I get my NTS! Even though I’ve sent my app in a 2 weeks ago, they’ve had an unusually high volume of things to take care of, which is why it’s taking them forever.

I really want to try to either get 2 or 3 sections done before I start work in September and was wondering what you would recommend I do. I can’t study too much more for FAR (just need to keep things fresh in my mind and relearn JEs) and want to start studying for another section. Which one would you all recommend studying for in conjunction to FAR? My goal is now to take FAR in early August (basically the earliest date I can get after receiving my NTS), but is there some other section I can study for as well while waiting for the NTS? If there is some way I can squeeze 2 or 3 in August, how would you recommend going about doing it and which ones would you recommend.

I want to avoid taking BEC if possible and save that for last. I feel very comfortable with that exam except for variances/cost/IT stuff and I think it’ll be relatively easy to do while working. Any ideas?
