Struggled with how to approach my FAR review, but this is what I settled on

    I wasn’t sure originally if there would be enough time, and there still may not be, but I decided to print out the Gleim Core Concepts overview for each chapter and read it over; then if I have time, go through the Instruct Videos (if time pressed, I won’t). Then hit 4 sets of 20 MCQ out of each chapter, and then do the SIMs. Taking 2 chapters per day. I plan to mix in reviews of prior chapters as I go. May have to skip the videos down the road, but so far so good. We will see if it works.

    What do they call an accounting person, who only managed a 75 on all four parts of the CPA exam....you got it, CPA!!!

    @Excel14…im short on time myself…my plan is to read all the core concept summaries, then work all of the questions in the book. They have about 30 a chapter * 20 chapters. The Gleim book does a good job of giving you space for writing calculations. This is for Reg btw…

    @mtaylo24,

    Sounds good. Like I said, I may have to cut something out if I get pressed, but that is my game plan as of today. Lol. Good luck with REG!

    People say 5,000 MCQ for FAR, but I don't see how they do it, unless they're simply mindlessly doing questions. I have made up my mind that while I need to get a decent number in, I won't get in 5,000. I'm trying to mix in some SIMs too. We'll see.
