study FAR, not (college) accounting major

Hey I have a question for studying for FAR…… Background: I got my bachelor in art history, with minors in finance and business. I then did an accounting intensive program where they taught 7 college accounting classes in one summer. Then I did a master of accounting after that. I had 8 months of full-time working experiences in public accounting. I’m now studying for the CPA exam (I do have enough credits to sit for the exams), but since my college major was not accounting, I feel my knowledge for FAR is weak. Should I go back to my intermediate accounting 1&2 textbooks? Any tips? Thanks a lot.

You have a Master of Accounting, so it doesn't matter what you majored in undergrad. I have a MAc, and I periodically go back to my text books. My main mode of study is the CPA course and MCQs, but sometimes I find that the finer detail that I can only get from one of my old text books is needed.

    FAR - 80
