Study for future attempt?

My NTS for FAR expires in early October, so basically I have no choice but to take it in about 7 weeks. And as I am currently going through the material, I don’t see how I could master all of this in 7 weeks. I am just wondering, with only 7 weeks, should I just study for knowledge of FAR material to give myself a good shot of passing AUD in November 29, and then a FAR retake in Q1 2015, or do I actually have a shot at passing? I work full-time btw.

7 weeks is plenty of time for FAR. I did it in 6 and wish that a full time job was the only thing I had going on. ( had a full time job, 2 school aged kids and was taking 2 classes for my masters).

I've just started with the material and honestly, I'm getting nervous already. And at this point, given my track record of failed attempts, I'm not feeling good in my chances for FAR. Though it is encouraging to hear that you were able to prevail within a shorter period of time and with more responsibilities.

Do what's best for you but don't define yourself by the times you didn't pass this. I think any more than 7 weeks is too much time. You'll forget what you learned 8+ weeks ago. You need that “fire”. You're too timid and tentative! Decide you're going to make FAR your B%#[} and don't let down your guard.

Thanks. The two times I was able to pass was because I was so upset I narrowly failed with a 70. But for FAR, I hope it won't have to come down to that lol. I'll try to find my fire some other way. And I am just wondering, what review course or plan did you go through in your six weeks?

You don't want to know lol. I only used cpareviewforfree for FAR. Granted I'd been doing G/L accounting since the 90's and was deeply entrenched in accounting grad classes.
