Most courses say for you to spend 2-3 hrs studying for each hour watching videos. Thats good and all but I do not find myself doing that when I’m studying each chapter. I just watch videos, try to read the book (so boring and lose focus), and then do questions and I call it a day. I’m studying for audit now and I can tell this is a weak area and I am having difficulty. I just don’t know what to do

With Becker, I usually read the chapter over (not real in depth) which is 1.5 hours typically. The lectures are 3-4 hours each for audit and then I do the home work, which with the sims is usually another 3-4 hours. Next I write notes about the chapter in a notebook, which usually consumes an additional 2 hours. Finally I print off Becker's chapter outline and high light key points, which takes 30 minutes. I'm taking about 10-12 hours to complete each section of Audit. This does not include review time during my final exam prep. I've been conquering two chapters per week, done by 3-4 hours Monday-Thursday, 1.5-2 hours on Friday, and 6 hours on Saturday. Sunday is my day off.

@tscape16 I have RODGER and I do about a chapter a day but some of these sections are pretty big so I can get through them in 2 days time. I try to take notes during the videos but they end up coming from the book anyway. Idk Rodger doesn't give that many sims per chapter, usually puts a lot of authoritative literature SIMS. I usually do Mon-Fri the chapters and Sat a review of what i did all week. I might have to end up switching my routine.

First, I watch the lecture. Then, I do the multiple choice questions Becker gives for that section, except for the optional MCQ's. I repeat this until I have finished all the content. Then, the next week, I re-read each chapter. I take 1 day for each chapter and re-read the chapter and take very detailed notes (4 hours), then do the optional MC questions and the simulations Becker provides (1-2 hours). Then, the final week or two I review using multiple choice quizzes, the final exams from Becker, and I re-read each chapter quickly about 5 times each within the last week to really solidify the material. It worked extremely well for me for AUD.
