it depends; how good is your memory and how fast do you learn
can you retain it and apply it
the worse you are at that then the longer you need to study........the better you are then well you can pass with half that time of 85 hrs but I think 85 is a normal number.....I think the avg on cpaexcel was like 60hrs.......for BEC/Audit and 120hrs for FAR/Reg
so 60,60,120,120 are the typical time for passing ppl on cpaexcel........but I am doing yeager for FAR b/c I like phil more then them but either way it is all pretty easy if you can find a way to make it enjoyable and fun...........not lame and painful
that is key
I know a person who did a 2 weekend review and passed BEC; I myself did a three week review of BEC and then 10day cram w/a Yeager cram; passed 1st try
I did 60hrs ovr ten days; over the three weeks maybe 45hrs............so all in all about 105 for me but then again my brain was pretty weak back then
now of days I am like a super brain that has been wooped into an advanced nerd of acctg so I learn much faster and think I could of passed with half those hrs but who knows
only the Accounting Gods can balance the JE of my success
Passed REG, AUD, BEC
Go Yaeger! Words of wisdom: no one ever asks you what you made on the CPA!
