Even though there is no real stupid question, I feel stupid after studying for this exam for 2 years and don’t know the answer. So how do you practice the research or AL for the exam. I have read many statements about how the answers were found using the AL, but I am not sure how to use it. See I told you almost stupid question…….

tncincy – do you have Becker? If so just practice their sims using AL to find the information pertinent to the SIM you're working on. Really all you need to do if play around in the AL for a bit until you feel comfortable navigating it. I think they also have a lecture on how to use it if you are really lost, but it is pretty intuitive once you mess around with it a bit.

Personally I have never used AL on my actual exams (other than research questions), but that is mostly because I never have time.

FYI- you need to run it in internet explorer. Chrome will not work

tncincy – If you don't have access to the literature, you can request it from NASBA and play around with it- but you need to have an active NTS. Just google NASBA: Professional Literature Request and you will find it.

I didn't know you could get access to it either – always thought that most people just got access to it through employer subscriptions or made use of what sources were available online. So, my AL knowledge on the exams was very lacking. More of us should've asked this question tncincy. 🙂
