I took a job out of college in which I was fooled into taking the Insurance exam / following a scam job. It probably took around two weeks to have it down and I easily passed. I don't even know nor care if that license still exist.
Has anybody dealt with a cocky MBA student that knows nothing about accounting (Undergrad in Criminal Law) and paid 20k to go to a 18 month weekend MBA Executive program? He called me up last week and told me that he had an email that "Some program called Becker is offering CPA degrees is now offered at his school". I tried to explain this is only the study material, but he insisted it's guaranteed pass rates and it can't be that hard. He tried telling me I was lucky to only have to shovel out 3k for my "Degree". He then asked if he could take it. He will never understand
I called my mom to tell her I passed Audit and all she could say was "Are you done"? How many more do you have? Since this is the first, was it the easiest? What are you going to do now? I can't hate on the ignorant factor
I really just wish people would understand. Thank God I have a girlfriend who's cousin went through this nightmare.
