Studying at home doesn’t work for me. Any specific locations that are good for studying?

The big NYPL with the lions out front. Real old fashioned library where you can hide and not be distracted.

    BEC: Fall 2016
    AUD: Spring 2016
    REG: Summer 2016
    FAR: RETAKE

I was wondering the same thing. I live in Queens. Usually I would go to an outdoor cafe with free WIFI but now it's freezing out. I had a professor once who said he stayed 2 weeks in a motel to study lol I actually thought about that.

The CPA journey is truly a nightmare.

Thanks for the suggestions. It is hard to find a good starbucks in the city for studying a lot of them are very small with limited seating, hard to actually get a seat without having to wait a while. (Also some of the homeless visitors can be very distracting)

The big NYPL is a good suggestion, I've used it before, might try it again.

If anyone has any other suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.

@JayManBro- I've heard Queens has a lot of cafes useable for studying. Can't help you with any specific ones but look around for some coffee cafes.

The SIBL library on 34th is very good. Very spacious, dead quiet and tons of free space. I've only been there a few times, but it was quite pleasant:

Are you near a college campus? Use that library. Christian science reading room may welcome you but not sure if they have wifi.
