Hey, I’m trying to transfer offices from Louisiana to Massachusetts. Right now it seems like I won’t be able to transfer offices until at least one year after I start working, which is october 2016. I want to be able to start studying and taking CPA exams starting july 2016, and hopefully complete that within a year or the maximum time allowed. Now since I am transferring, and maybe taking the CPA exam in Louisiana at first, am I allowed to then transfer to Massachusetts office? Also, I can’t take a Louisiana exam if I’m in Massachusetts, correct? I’m just in this whole dilemma of trying to transfer between offices but I don’t know if they will let me yet, and that is carrying over to deciding where to sit for the CPA exam.

Also, for my masters of accounting program, my educational requirements are for both Louisiana and Massachusetts

    BEC - 79
    FAR - 62,73,76
    AUD - 70, 88
    REG - 83

I'd say its much to early to even be thinking about it. A lot can change in the next 13 months and the plan you have right now may change too. Wait and see where you and your plans are next spring just before you're applying for an NTS

But to answer your question it doesn;t matter where you physically take the exams. If you've applied in LA you can sit at any prometric.
