Taking FAR tomorrow

    I am taking FAR tomorrow and was doing MCQ today all day long…… and my score is getting worse, and worse, and worse…

    Really confused and scared. Should I just stop practicing ? or spend all night reading notes? or just pray 🙂

    I'm in the same boat. I stopped doing mcqs because it was killing my confidence. I decided to skim through the book and read my notes. There is just too much information…best of luck to you tomorrow

    I'm just gonna focus on reviewing the heavy hitters. Government, leases, bonds, NFP, Pensions and IFRS differences. Best of luck to everyone.

    I'm in the same boat, except I take it on Monday, 11/30. I'm just slugging out 30MC Progress Tests that cover all sections as I feel that I'm at about as “as good as I can get” in my difficult areas.

    Best of luck and you should probably relax a little bit tonght.

    Just back home from test…….. I know 10000% that I did not pass. score release day Dec 9. Should I start studying now or just relax till Dec 9. Soo sad….

    Same here man. I felt like once I started I went blank. I am taking today and tomorrow off. Getting back on it on Monday lol cause I know for sure that I failed. The struggle is real

    What scores were u getting on the MCQ before you took the test? What review course did you use? I'm taking mine in early January and getting worried as well because I'm only about 60% thru the material.

    AlexCPA, I am using GLEIM and purchased NINJA MCQ. If I failed its totally my fault. I have 3 kids doing three different sports competitively, (at national level), and my husband has a lot of business trips, but the most time consuming is that my mom is fighting with brain cancer(I am driving her and taking care about everything) and on top of everything I was working full time.I know that everybody here has a lot on their shoulder, but I am not really good at managing everything.
    I made a mistake and spend a lot of time watching GLEIM videos so I was not able to finish all practice SIM and MCQ.So I am not good example…
    I was scored around 50-60 on my practice.

    Zolushka, I am also using Gleim and I got stuck around 65% for all the sections. I just took my exam today and have no clue whether I passed or not. I feel like some questions came out of thin air while others seemed like practice questions.

    FAR: 75
    Reg: 53, retake 4/31
    Aud: 5/30
    BEC: 7/1

    Sev705, gleim questions are much harder than real exam question for sure!!! I am not sure its good or bad, but i think i was overthinking on simple question just because GLEIM always has some trick, but later I realized that on actual exam its not so tricky.
    SIM were very close to GLEIM, but I got two!!!!! research sim on same topic and i could not find one of them…really confusing. So with 65% you should be good!

    @ everybody, I am taking FAR tomorrow and I decided to stop doing MCQs because I do not want to get upset with the scores I get. I am going over the book, writing J/E and formulas and trying to get as much info as I can before 1pm tomorrow. It is impossible to remember every single detail so I hope I can do ok.

    I was a fool and went in weak in Government. Shame on me. I'll spend the time between now and the 9th of December studying up on Government. If I have to retake the exam I will cover up that weak spot.

    I've been hearing that they are testing heavy on non for profit and Governmental. I am having issue with the reconciliation from Government Fund to Government Wide Financial Statements, GOES BARE GALS BARE 🙂 I am about to hit leases and pensions and then Governmental. Good thing my exam is at 1pm so I can sleep
