Taking BEC in 8 days August 10th. This will be the first exam I am taking and I am just wondering how I should be spending these last few days preparing and what I should expect.I prepared by using Becker, I watching the lectures along with reading the book and doing MC. I am finished with the book and lectures so now I just need to review. Any tips?

If you don't have the ninja mcq's get them…and they are reasonably priced if you want to test your knowledge. or continue doing what ever test bank you have. I am finding the more you drill the better.

I am currently reviewing for aud. This is what I'm doing.

My suggestions are hit mcq non-stop. As you do them, take notes about your wrong answers. A couple days before your test, identify your weak areas and go back to your material to get a better understanding.

I second tncincy. Ninja is the way to go. Not only are the explanations great, but the software also provides a very detailed breakdown so you can identify weaker areas easily.

    Best of luck to you!

I would agree with tncincy, BEC is a hard exam to prepare for and seemed like a difficult exam for me to form my own final review for. If you have not yet identified some of your weak areas the Ninja MCQ product would be a great review to help you pick those areas out and get some exposure to a new format of question and feedback which can be very beneficial. If you go this route I would suggest keeping a running Word document open to copy and paste any good explanations or troubled areas that you identify while working the MCQ that you can come back to and review during down time or before your exam.

The exams are very intimidating but don't let them get the best of you, prepare to succeed and don't forget your confidence on exam day.

As far as exam day itself, try to plan ahead so you can avoid having to take a break during the exam. I'm still kicking myself for taking a break during FAR, then running out of time at the end.

for the people that are saying getting ninja, is it actually worth it or are you employed by them to say it?

lol I am not employed by NINJA and highly recommend purchasing the MCQ. You'll get numerous questions that are different than Becker's and they are only $47. Typically the last few days before my exam I solely do NINJA MCQ nonstop.

LOL definitely not employed by Ninja. Jeff, do you have room for all of us on your payroll?? 🙂

I am simply a believer after struggling through CPAexcel with FAR and feeling like I retained nothing. Not CPAexcel's fault – FAR is just rough. Ninja helped tie it all together for me.

Also, use promo code HIYA to get 15% off the MCQs. Brings the total down to around $40 I think.

I have used every review out there and I fully endorse the Ninja MCQs. However, since you are only 8 days out from your exam you may not have time to go through all the Becker questions and then get through the Ninja MCQs. I think I would go through all Becker questions at least once and see where you are and if you feel you need extra questions then spend money on supplemental questions.

The Ninja interface is hands down one of the best out there.

Not employed by Ninja but I have used the Ninja Audio, MCQ and sometimes Notes for a supplement to the Becker software for all of my exams. Money very well spent and if a firm wasn't paying for my Becker I'd be all in on Ninja solo.

Lol, definitely not an employee. I would like a promotional / marketing discount though. I am using the mcq's for reg,(test on tomorrow) I am drilling questions,( doing better than I thought btw) after struggling initially I am more confident going into my test tomorrow. Hey, you can't get no better. Don't know about becker, but ninja will not be a waste.

How's that Jeff for a raise, or gift of mcq's for aud. ( I already bought bec)…l I'll even take a gift for reg, if the results is less than 75…lol

Let's not forget the adaptive phase. Those stealthy ninjas know us CPA exam candidates like to avoid areas we know we are weak in so they feed you questions from your weak areas until you have proven to have somewhat of an understanding.

But in all honesty they are great I raised my score by using Ninja MCQs. Prior to that I was scoring in the 40s now I have hope of passing.
