    My exam is in 4 days! Is corporate taxation tested more heavily than individual taxation?

    Learn to efficiently navigate the AL, as it just may save you on the Sims. If you read through the Q3 threads, many people (myself included) were lamenting over the Sims we received. I was hit with topics I was not very comfortable with but was fortunately able to find some answers in the AL.

    @Mr. Dim

    I struggled with this last exam. How did you practice using the AL efficently? Obvisoulsy I know how to search, but come exam day I always panic and can never find what I need in the AL. It's like the search function decides to stop working for me.

    How did you practice?

    @Disco Stu

    I know what you mean about panicking in the AL – the search function can be hit or miss for me on exam day as well. Are you using Becker or another review course that has AL sims? If so, I'd recommend becoming somewhat familiar with the hierarchy of the IRC. For example, if you are trying to determine whether a certain item is to be included in gross income, sometimes it is easier to browse to Chapter 1, Subchapter B and browse through the items. Or if it is something regarding exempt organizations, just go to Subchapter F and do the same. You obviously don't want to waste time remembering the entire IRC, but having a rough idea where certain items are located may prove helpful.

    This website from Cornell has a searchable IRC. Really helped me. https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/26

    Thanks @Mr Dim and @adam8199

    I'm using Becker and Ninja MCQ. I think knowing where the main sections are will defintely help. I'll play around with it tonight.
