    Hi everyone,

I have a question and wondering if others have encountered this situation or have thoughts…i passed my first section (BEC) back at the end of 2012, which starting my 18th month clock. I’ve since passed REG and AUD. Because of extenuating circumstances, I’ve only just recently been able to study for FAR and hope to take at the end of this month in the hopes of not losing my BEC credit, which expires 4/30.

My question is this- if i take FAR on 4/30 and pass (hopefully), will the BEC credit still stand, i.e. is the timing based on when i finish the exam at the testing center or when received by AICPA, or other?

Any insight would be awesome. Thanks!

They go by the date you took your test, not the day they received it. You should call your state board if you are concerned about it.
