I am going to call the TSBPA today to make sure I know exactly what I need to do, but I thought I’d check in first with y’all to see if I can make that conversation as quick as possible.

Am I correct that my employer needs to fill out the work experience form (https://www.tsbpa.state.tx.us/pdffiles/x0005.pdf). Then when it gets mailed off, the TSBPA will send me the ethics test? If yes, is that all there is to it, or is there something else? If no, what do I need to do?

I will continue scouring the TSBPA website while I wait to hear from y’all.

I'm in the same boat. Apparently they will mail us a packet that contains vendor options for the ethics exam. The employer does need to fill out that form, but I've seen some people on this site say to wait for the one that comes in the packet. From what I understand, the packet should arrive within a week and has very detailed instructions. So for now, just bask in the glory of not having to study… 🙂

I grabbed the forms from the TSBPA website and got them filled out. When the packet finally came the only thing I had to do was the enclosed “ethics” exam (was really more about the professional responsibility stuff moreso than ethics) and send them the paperwork I already did.

All in they do process stuff fairly quickly. As long as you aren't calling pestering them for when scores are released they are very helpful and friendly.
