I would like to know if my exam credits expire if I don’t get my work experience by certain amount of time in Texas?

I don't think so, but contacting the board would be the safest answer. I have heard of people working a couple of years part-time to meet their experience requirements after passing the exams.

I don't believe your exam credits expire. You may be subjected to additional qualifications in order to be license if you sit on exam credits.

Texas CPA - licensed in 2012!!!

I contacted the Board about this back in 2012 and they gave the following:

“Currently there is not a time requirement for submitting work experience

after the exam is passed. However, the Texas Legislature could impose

such a limit, therefore we advise applicants to become licensed as soon

as possible after passing the exam”

You might want to contact them to see if there are any changes to this policy.

If there are please let me know; I am in the same boat regarding work experience.
