Texas Score Release Question

    So, I took FAR on 2/28, the last day of the testing window. I received that NASBA email that said if the AICPA receives your exam by March 1 at midnight, you’ll get your score on March 10. But, if the AICPA receives it later than that, your score will come out March 18.

    1) Does this apply to Texas since it is a non-NASBA state?

    2) How quickly does the testing center send the exams off? I asked the people who work there, and they didn’t know…which makes me think it is automatic? I took the exam at a Prometric Testing Center.

    I took REG in Texas on 2/28/14. I asked the Prometric people the same question with the same concern as you. One guy didn't know the answer, but another girl who worked there chimed in and said the exam is sent over immediately. She said I shouldn't worry about it NOT getting there that day. (I took the exam at 12:30) Let's hope they know what they're talking about.

    Yeah it applies to all states. You should get your score by March 11th (Texas) if it was sent off before midnight. I believe most do it at the end of the day but i'm not 100% sure. I wouldn't worry about it since its out of your control.
