Hi everyone! New to the forum, a rookie. Iam currently studying for FARE, and shit just got real. I see numbers everywhere and any decision I made, even the simplest one’s, I always think about the $$. Also Iam beginning to think, that homework is fun. Passing some Fight Club accounting alter ego or something like that xd. Anyone feels the same? Also if anyone has got some concentration tips, will be welcome.

Where are you finding the Tyler Durden FC mentality bc I have somehow become completely unmotivated! Utterly and completely. I cannot even get through the first lecture yet on F1!!!!! I passed AUD and FAR is my second test yet….. I've already hit burn out??????????

I agree Bill. I just think about the opportunities that will come with 3 letters and that this is the accountant equivalent of the Spartan training. That's how I get motivated.

Since we're using fight analogies…it was called “FARE” back when the UFC allowed groin strikes 🙂

Oh, and the House of GAAP went from a two-story to a ranch.

Not sure about this fight club/UFC stuff…sorry total girl here…but since you asked about tips to help concentrate here's one: study in increments of 50 minutes and then take a break. In my case I find it's more fruitful to study for a straight hour or sometimes even half hour and really study hard in that hour and take a break than study 8 hours straight. Personally I use Jeff's ELL plan (Early, lunch and late) which works best for my schedule. Oh, and also I like rain sounds in the background to block out all outside noise. Alright boys back to studying!
