lol BlueMerle. I lurk less & less but always at score release time. In a strange way (make that a very bizarre way) I actually kinda miss it. I need serious counseling but I do miss it in a way. It was such a huge part of my life for a long time that it was hard to downshift. I read the score posts & remember that feeling of F5 over & over then seeing through squinted eyes that a score is on the screen & that amazing feeling of passing. I need help.lol
I guess I can post here now. I will stay on this forums for a long time, it's a privilege to be here and share our stories during the CPA exam process.
brla-I know how you feel. I seem to lurk now and then more often during score release. I finished a little over a year ago but the CPA is a journey that you will never forget and the people I interacted with on Another71.com I will never forget though I have never met them face to face.
Jeff-You helped me in so many ways and your kindness, assistance and support you showed me I thank you.
@rstanton – I know what you mean! Last night when I got my last score, it didn't “feel” like a big deal. But today, I felt more giddy & excited. I guess it's slowly starting to sink in!

Dear CPA Exam, You are a beast. But you WILL be defeated!
This is so nice to be finally done with all the 4 sections. I had imagined passing all four parts within 4 months on the first trial would land me an accounting job/ internship… But now it just seems harder looking for job here in So. Ca in order to be licensed. Could you guys give me some tips regarding this?
yay !! just done with CPA 🙂 and back to normal life……. but confused as to what to do ? m from PA and have little idea about my next step… please advise !!
Liz317-Congrats on passing. I am sure it will sink in more once you get your license.
nhinho84-Congrats to you too. Really don't have any idea on getting a job/internship. I here people say the best way is just to network as much as possible. Often it is who you know rather than what you know that gets you in the door but passing the exam has to give you a little edge in the market. Good Luck.
