Thanks guys 🙂
@agniechaCPA2011 – Well, all I had to do was change my eating habits. I already worked out 3x per week for 2 hours because of roller derby, so I just cut my calories down to around 1200 per day. Sometimes I get as low as 800 calories in a day, which my doctor said is fine as long as I'm taking a vitamin and having frequent checkups to make sure I'm losing weight in a healthy way.
I guess my tip is, find something that you love to do that is active. That way you'll make it a priority because you love it, not just because it makes you healthier. I have a really hard time getting into the gym… but I always make it to derby practice. Also don't buy junk food at all. I don't even allow it in my house. I eat almost the same thing every day since structure helps me. In the morning I have a shake made of half a scoop of chocolate whey protein powder plus half a cup of a blend of frozen fruit, then for lunch I have a frozen lean cuisine or something along those lines (usually around 230-280 calories). After breakfast and dinner I'm usually at around 400 calories. For dinner I have a small dinner and a glass of red wine. I wasn't willing to give up wine. 🙂 Dinner is usually something like pulled chicken with a veggie or cheddar cheese.. something small.
Also I log all of my food and exercise at loseit.com. That site is awesome.
