The scrap noteboards… what a load of garbage

Anyone hate those? Took the exam yesterday, those note boards and markers are garbage. Most of the time I spent trying to get the markers to actually write on the noteboards. I was given two markers that most of the time just wouldn’t write on the noteboards. Asked for another and got the same thing. Didn’t want to waste more time so just tried working with what I was given.

Whatever happened to a paper & pencil?

I agree. I would prefer paper/pencil. I think they do that just to make us more uncomfortable than we already are while taking the tests.

They definitely are a step down from paper and pencil, but I found if you put the cap back on the marker, it won't dry out as fast (unless they're just defective in the first place). They're still pretty annoying, but I never had a huge issue with them. On BEC, I was pretty close to running out of space on the notecards.

    A - 71('11); *87*(04/'13)-Becker & NINJA
    F - *76*(08/'13)-Becker & NINJA - "server upgrade" survivor
    B - 60('11); *82*(10/'13) -Becker & NINA

    DONE, DONE, AND DONE.

I prefer paper and pencil, but I guess people think of all kinds of ways to cheat. Like leave notes in lockers, at the desk, on the floor, hand it to the next person coming in the door. No one would bring their own dry erase board. With that said, at least the center person could clean the boards and make sure the pens write. and also sanitize the pencils from people sneezing, nose digging, and chewing on them.

I was always worried about it but I really never used more than one side of a noteboard. I would have preferred pencil and paper though.
