Aaron, “CPA” means so much more to those of us who struggle. I have been fairly successful at most things in my life so far until this exam. This has humbled me and taught me so many lessons in patience and perseverance.

Thanks for posting. I am inspired to continue when I read testimonials like yours. Hope life is treating you well.

I was a good student in college, I did relatively well in my accounting classes, I've worked in public accounting and in industry, granted I didn't purse the CPA right out of college like many… Accounting never came easy to me, however, my biggest problem was always the actual test taking. I've never been a good test taker… I attribute many of my failures noted above to not planning well and not understanding what questions are asking for. After taking the exam plenty of times (obviously) I started to realize what the question was really asking… I learned HOW to take the exam and studied knowing full well half the battle is the exam itself. Anyone can understand debits and credits, not everyone can apply them. Learn the WHY in every question and the HOW in answering them.

I wish everyone the best of luck!

Aaron – It was encouraging to read your post. Currently, struggling with AUD and wonder if it would be possible to actually be done with this test. After reading your post seems like it is possible and I should not lose hope and stay focused.

    Congratulations !
