Unexpected things came up that caused me to fall extremely behind on my study plan (which was already tight anyway) and I’ve been attempting to play catch up ever since. I’ve been doing as much as physically possible for the last 3-4 weeks. My exam is on Monday, which is the last possible day before my NTS expires, so rescheduling is unfortunately not an option.
For my previous exams I have always ended up with more time to review which allowed me to re-read my Becker chapters, re-do HW questions/sims, then take final exams, etc. Now because of my extreme time crunch I am wondering if I need to change up my strategy to get the most effective 2 days possible. I use Becker review materials, I also have Becker Final Review, and prior to the unexpected events I purchased NINJA MCQ which I had planned on using as an additional review but I haven’t even worked 1 question. When going through the chapters initially when learning the new material I always read each chapter and did relatively well on the homework, and aside from Pensions I feel like I had a thorough understanding of each topic the first time around.
Is it better to go through and re-read all my Becker chapters to refresh my mind on the concepts? Or to just do non-stop questions for the next 2 days? Keep in mind I’ve completed chapters 7, 8, 9, 10 all within the last 2 weeks so those concepts are really fresh so I wasn’t planning on reviewing much. I’ve already fully reviewed chapter 1. That leaves Becker chapters 2-6 which contains a substantial amount of material.
I already know I’m pretty much screwed but I have no choice to reschedule and if I have to retake I’m gonna have to spend the money regardless so I figured I’d just give it my best shot this time and hope for the best. Any advice would be appreciated.
