Time Management Tips to Increase Speed and Finish Test - Final Review Tips

I think what I had to learn myself was not to dwell on a question for too long. If it took me longer than 1 - 1 1/2 min for a question I would select my best guess & mark it for review. I didn't finish FAR the first time either, but I determined that spending too much time on the MCQ was my problem. Also, now the Simulations are worth 40% of the test so you want to make sure you give yourself enough time to answer them effectively. I would give myself about 50 min per testlet. Before the test I would calculate what the clock would say after 50 min for each testlet and write it down at the top of my scratch paper so I could quickly look at the time and see if I was somewhat on track. Don't freak out if there is a question that seems to come out of nowhere & you have never seen it before bc more than likely it is a surprise to most candidates & could be a pre-test question.
