I take it tomorrow at 12:30.. I know its 4 hours. I want to take my sweet time, I can probably do the MCQ’s in about 1.5 hours if that even. I want to take my time because one little word can throw the answer off and be tricky.

How much should I spend on MCQ’s/SIM’s (so I can watch the time)? For REG I spent about 20-25 minutes, when people I know spent a good 1.5 hrs, and still ran out of time. For AUD, I want to take FULL advantage of the AL. Im scared sh!tless for AUD, since it was never my strong point in college. I never learned anything.

I just took the AICPA released questions, got 8 wrong for a total of 42/50. Which is actually pretty good. About 3-4 of the wrong ones I was 50/50 on with the right answer.

Im going to review the flashcards for about an hour or so, and then do all the CPAReviewForFree SIM’S I paid for, which I heard are great. Then take Final Exam #2!!!!!!

I spent about 2 hours on the MCQ just because I wanted to make *sure* I was slowing down enough to read the questions correctly. I spent an hour and a half on the SIMS and felt like I had done all I could do. Looked up everything to see if I could get any extra points using Auth Lit. Exited the test with about 30 mins left on the clock.

That being said, I don't think you really have to try to get through the MCQ's in an hour and a half. Just take your time and make sure you are reading the questions. I found that 2 hours left for SIMS was more than enough time.

@futuremdcpa– How long did you study for AUD? I'm doing the becker online for it, so the class is 3 weeks long. I'm trying to decide how much time I need to review everything after the class is over. How long did you review, and do you feel like it was long enough? I am also terrified of AUD. Out of all my accounting classes, I got the worst grade in it…

    REG- 53, 91
    BEC- 88
    FAR- 62, 85
    AUD- 85

    Ethics- 93

I had straight A's in all accounting classes.. except AUDIT!!! B+ damnit, and thanks to a huge curve hahah. Okay, all in all I had about 2.5 weeks total. But out of that 2.5 weeks total, I was spending a good 7 hours for the first week and a half, and about 4-5 hours max for the past 1-2 weeks or so.. I've done all Beckers MCQ's ONCE, and the SIMs once as well. I tried going through them twice, but I would not be able to do that in two days, so I just took the final exam, and did the released AICPA questions, gonna go over flashcards, and just review my answers for the final exam.. I mean, I guess I feel OK.. But theres quiet a few different report modifications that drive me crazy, but who knows.. we will see..

I guess I will do the MCQ's slowly, and make sure I understand them as best as possible. I just hope I dont spend more then 2 hours on them.. that would suck. I loose concentration after an hour or two.

Thank you guys, appreciate the feedback! 🙂
