    #1 I thought I had a good chance (71)

#2 I was so confident I passed with at least an 85. (73)

#3 No motivation now, since AUD expired & having a hard time studying. Test is scheduled for 2/13. Now supplemting Yaeger Homestudy & cram with Gleim. Should have used Gleim all along.

I passed all the others on my first time, but I can’t pass this one.

    Audit Passed

    Vern,

It took me 2x to get past BEC, but I wanted to let you know that I used Gleim in my final review week and I firmly believe that is what helped me pass. I had been using Becker and scoring well, but when I starting using Gleim (free trial) I realized I hadn't really covered Corporate Governance very well. Gleim did a great job on it, and the questions were tough and helped me put the pieces together.

I know this whole process can be discouraging to say the least, but if you passed all the other exams on the first try, then you know you can do BEC. I have supplemented with Yaeger crams, but have recently used Roger crams and have really enjoyed them. It is just a nice departure from Yaeger, and upbeat in tone. I needed that “lift” because this process was kicking my butt. I haven't used Gleim's full course or cram, but I think when you take a detour from what you have done previously it helps reenergize your step. I think you are smart to utilize Gleim.

    Good luck…and hang in there!!

    You can do this!

BEC is the exam I studied the most for, in comparison to its volume, so far.

Your #2 sounds exactly like my #2 exam. I knew literally everything and got hit with some stuff never seen before (passed with 76 after a 74).

Keep studying. Make sure you know the material really well. At least it's not that much.

The key to passing BEC is to not leave any stone unturned because since it has the least amount of material, the AICPA likes to hit you with questions on small topics. Know IT, Corporate Governance, ratios, Economics, Cost Accounting and Variances. You're likely to get HEAVILY tested on any one of those topics. Ignore the percentages on the Content Specification. They're nonsense. Know all of those to the best of your ability.

I feel your pain, your title drew my attention

for me, I really think it's the matter of luck sometimes

my first attempt, no confidence 73, it's my first cpa exam ever, not expecting too much,

    my second, extreme confidence 71

my third, 85% sure i would pass, 71

my forth, 0 confidence, I was sick and my head was spinning when I was taking the exam at the test center, 78

I strongly believe the WC part saved me, English is my second language but by scoring stronger on WC, it allowed me to squeeze a few extra point for me to pass

I used Becker for the first 3 attempts and added Wiley for supplement

    @yankeeaccountant

Do you think you can provide a link for the gleim software? The website is a little confusing and I'm not sure which product I'm supposed to get just for BEC questions. Thank you.

ME! I have failed 3 times also.

#1 – Thought I might have a chance, but was more focused on FAR section (66)

#2 – Thought I did pretty good, felt like I would pass it (73)

#3 – The test was soooo freakin hard! I was cussing the entire time. I thought I had no chance. (74)

Rescheduled to take on 2/3. It is very frustrating to study because I feel like I know it well by now (I have studied sooo many hours)! I know its all depends on my frame of my mind on test day and what the testing Gods decide to throw at me…SUCKS!!!!

REG 78 Lost credit, retake 2/29, Waiting
    AUD 72,75
    FAR 79
    BEC 66,73,74, 76
