Took BEC today

Just took BEC for the first time today and have no idea how it went! First testlet wasn’t bad, pretty simple and straightforward, but second was absolutely ridiculous – they were pulling questions out of left field about things I’d never even heard of before! Heck, they even threw one calculation question at me that really wasn’t too terrible (pretty sure I got it right), but it still took me almost 10 minutes to work through the calculations to get the answer!

I know it’s a good thing that the second testlet was terrible, but I couldn’t even judge the third testlet. I don’t know if the third one was easy, or if it just seemed easy after the gauntlet that was the second testlet. It was kind of the same exact way that Audit felt for me the second time I took it, but I’m nervous because I know BEC is obviously not the same thing.

The written communications were almost stupid-easy though. I definitely got the impression they were just testing to see if I knew the most basic topics tested on BEC and could write in complete sentences. Guess I’ll find out soon whether I’ve only got REG left or if I’m only halfway through!

    FAR - 75
    AUD - 72; 87
    REG - 64; 74; 84
    BEC - 88

    Done!!

I took BEC last Friday. I had sorta the same experience. First testlet was fairly easy. Nothing to complicated. Second testlet was awful. Some of the questions I got I feel like I did not even see in my study material. I used becker and supplemented with Wiley Test Bank. Third testlet started and I did not know what to think. I felt like it was just as hard as the second one. The concepts being tested were just so foreign to me. I could not tell if the diffculty changed, or I just did not know the material well enough.

    AUD: 75
    FAR: 77
    REG: 82
    BEC: 73 11/23/13

That's pretty much exactly how it went for me when I took BEC in January. First section was a breeze, second section felt like a mean joke, third I was too thrown off to even know what to think.

Thats how I felt when I took it today. Except the third testlet felt extremely easy in comparison to the first. The second was asking questions out of left field. The written communication was a little weird. One question kind of wth, in Rogers theres like a sentence or two explaining what it is. I had no idea what to write after like 3 sentences haha.

I was running out of time so I didn't do very well in the written communication section though…I felt devastated after the exam.

I took it on the 28th and have no idea what to expect. I feel great about the multiple choice, but not so good about the RC. I know I screwed up at least 4 calculation MC questions.

    REG - 02/2013 - 86
    AUD - 05/2013 - 78
    FAR - 11/2013 - 82
    BEC - 02/2014 - 73, 4/2014 - 79
