Well unfortunately, I was supposed to take my exam 8/11, but I moved it to 8/17 because I wasn’t ready. Instead of getting my score tomorrow, I now have to wait until 9/9. However, I am taking a break and won’t study again until I receive my score on 9/9. I felt pretty good about the exam. I felt both my test lets got more difficult, but COSO and IT were very difficult. I am worried about how harsh grammar is graded on written communication though lol.

I just came from taking my BEC test. I feel ok and that it could go either way. Seems like the second testlet was harder, but it's all relative. The writing questions – ugh, I think I took one in the totally wrong direction, ugh, not much I can do about it now. This is the last test I have to pass, I hope to see a 75 on Sept 9th!

What material did you use, and did you feel like it helped you prepare for the exam?

I used Roger's lectures and NINJA MCQ. I feel Ninja prepared me well for Financial Management, Econ, and Cost Accounting. However for COSO and IT, I felt the questions were much more difficult and random. Hopefully I passed. My track record is to fail the first time and pass the second. I'm hoping I pass the first time for my last section!

I think you passed. I had med med Hard testlet and passed and ofc I smoked WC.

I found Becker's sections for IT and COSO to be rather weak compared to the NINJA MCQs. NINJA provided those gritty annoying little details for those sections that made you actually analyze them rather than just know the answer because the definition was in the problem (Becker). Becker's cost accounting was just overboard and took valuable studying time due to the long computations, while NINJA tested you similar to the test length of questions.
My conclusion – Don't just use one set of MCQs. You need to diversify your test banks. It will help you come test time because you will have different ways to look at a problem. If you only use one test bank your mind will become too familiar with how those questions are worded,and come test time your mind will freak out when a question doesn't use the same format, words, phrases, etc.

Thanks guys, waiting for your last exam score is brutal, but it's nice having a couple of weeks off. However, the week before score release all I'm going to think about is whether I'm done for good, or have one more to go. I felt the most confident about BEC, even the hard questions didn't throw me off this time.
