Please i want to know if any one has sat for the exam in a state and transferred the credit to another for licensing. I want to know the process and the possible requirements. Any contribution will be helpful

Hello Excobar, I am waiting for my last score to transfer my credits. After my first pass, I gave a call to my jurisdiction (IN) to transfer my credit to NY. They told me that it makes more sense to wait until I pass all 4, as each transfer costs the same amount of money (at that time 1 transfer, including up to 4 scores, was $25). To my understanding you are paying for the transfer, not the number of scores/sections you are transferring.

Call your nasba state contact, they are very helpful about this.

Give your state board a quick call. They should be able to clear it up. If you don't have time for a call, send them an email. I think each state may vary regarding transferring out/ in. I live in MO and per their NASBA website and CPAES, they don't transfer any passing scores out electronically; I think it has be to done in conjunction with the transfer in state.
