   Hello all. I just got my score for FAR and I have now passed all 4 parts of the CPA exam.

   \n

   I live in Virginia. I took on this exam with the hope of being a more marketable job candidate. It worked and I now have a job, but I do not work under a CPA, so I will likely never get the experience requirement.

   \n

   I think I will just get licensed in Colorado/Illinois since my Masters will work in lieu of the experience requirement.

   \n

   I work for the government and do not perform accounting services. Can I use the CPA designation in Virginia if I am not licensed there?\n

   Are you licensed any where in the US? If not, then you can't use the CPA title AT ALL ANY WHERE. Most states have some type of regulation that keeps you from using the CPA title (some call it unauthorized use of title) until you really are licensed. Check with the VA board about its mobility restrictions.\n
