    NINJA Question –

Has anyone had luck with only using the Ninja MCQ and ninja notes?

I’m also using Becker for the Lectures and have been through those MCQ once writing down the problems that I need to focus on.

I'll let you know. I test Monday and it is my second time for BEC, but this time around all I've done is Ninja MCQ and Ninja Notes. Not sure it is a sound strategy, but I actually do believe it gives you enough info to pass.

I passed REG on my first attempt utilizing mainly the NINJA Notes/MCQs. So long as you make sure to read the explanations and literature that the NINJA MCQs provide when you're going through them, I think they alone are very good preparatory material for the exam. And the NINJA Notes are a nice way to wrap everything up and are excellent as review notes for the exam.

Since I won't get my score till mid August I figured I'd let you know that I think that BEC and just MCQs is very doable. I left the test yesterday thinking I had passed. We shall see obviously whether I did or not, but I didn't feel this good the past two times I sat for an exam.

Has anyone had luck with this yet? I have two weeks left to study. Are the SIMS challenging enough for me to pass?

I was wondering thoughts on this now that the NINJA MCQs and BEC NINJA book have been out a few months. My Becker expires January 2. I passed REG, plan to take AUD 11/22 and FAR 1/3. That leaves BEC with no/outdated material and was thinking of going full on NINJA style.

Didn't work the first time for me, but I didn't focus in enough probably. This time around I did just MCQs maybe 800 with about 45 hours of study or so over a month and read the reasons on wrong answers and got the 75 I need. So it will work for BEC.

@ ajones19 – that's impressive; curious to hear more feedback from ya. Did you do MCQs and all SIMs?

I studied for about 3 months. I did all the MCQs until I had them pretty much memorized, and did most of the sims.

    It can certainly be done.

I've passed three parts (find out about the fourth next week) using MCQs only on my first try. My strategy is to work and correctly answer all of the MCQs, but more importantly, to understand the concepts and theory surrounding the question. The information shown after you answer a question is infinitely more valuable than answering the question correctly.

I did not do any practice simulations for any of the exams. When I say MCQs only, that's exactly what I mean. Assuming I passed AUD, I will have passed all four exams doing only MCQs in 21 studying days total (about 150 hours combined).

    REG - 90 (08/2014) - Study Time = 6 days
    FAR - 89 (10/2014) - Study Time = 9 days
    BEC - 83 (11/2014) - Study Time = 4 days
    AUD - 89 (01/2015) - Study Time = 2 days

    Final score released - 2/4/15
    Application mailed - 2/5/15
    Licensed CPA - 2/12/15

    @mt3130

That's my kind of studying….not long drawn out, simple and to the point.

    It begins with a 75
Been here too long as a cheerleader.....time to pass
