Please excuse my ignorance..So I am filling out the onboarding documents for my work. And I hv to fill out the W4 info. I am married and hv 2 kids and my husband I file jointly. How many number of withholdings do I enter on the form? Would it be 4? Would it be 2?

If I count my kids on my W4 would that be double counting them since my husband also has claimed them on his w4?

I do not know another place better to ask then this forum.

    thanks 🙂

I would check Married and 2. I like to break even and not owe any taxes. I also don't believe in giving politicians an interest free loan.

Yes. But that is what I would do. I would advise you to look at last year's tax return and estimate what you will pay or get back in as a refund, given that your income stays the same or the estimate of what it will be in 2014.
