It has been a week since my office visit. Do I still get a chance or am I getting rejected? one other person that I know who went to the same superday has already been extended an offer for internship right after the day of the interview. Do anyone had the same experience that after a week they still get good news? This wait is stressful. I am currently working on my MST, and I work full time at a government agency and I also has two parts of the CPA passed. I just took Reg this Monday! Hopefully I will pass Reg this time, this is my second time taking it.

I honestly don’t think that my interview went bad, however, I won’t say super good. But I did not make any major mistakes thou.

Did they give you a time frame for how long it would take?

If no, I would contact the recruiter and follow up to see how much longer a decision would take. Maybe they tried calling you, but had a wrong number?

If yes, then just wait until the time frame they gave has passed, and then contact the recruiter.

right after the interview i sent a thank you note to the recruiter and she replied saying that she will get me updated as soon as possible. However, on the website, it says that they will try to make a decision within two week. I guess I will just have to wait for another week, and if I still don't get an answer I will then contact the recruiter.

Maybe you're in a maybe bucket? This is not based on any actual knowledge, but perhaps for people who did OK as you described are lumped into a maybe pile to be reconsidered based staffing needs. ie: They want to make 50 offers, after all interviews they have given out 40 offers, and then they swing back over to the maybe pile

I had an unusually long wait when going through the interview process for my current full time position with a big 4. First interview was in October, literally heard nothing for 3 weeks, so I kept emailing back in forth with HR. Ended up having 3 more phone interviews, then another office interview in January. From my experience they are always shifting around where they need resources, which could be why your wait is so long. But like has been said previously, keep reaching out to HR.
