The Good News: This is an updated platform and we can do a lot more with it (like make an app – which people have been asking for…)

The Bad News: Not all of the half a million posts made the journey…but most did. We lost about the last month’s worth of posts.

Short term sacrifice for long-term gain and all of that.

There will be a learning curve for sure…hope it goes mostly smooth.

Some of the old favorites (HIYA Button) will be coming back…we just wanted to launch the thing asap.

Yay the new forum is finally here! 🙂 ‘Course the month of posts is a loss…but the new forum is fun to finally see. 🙂 I thought I'd pulled up the wrong website for a second when I expected to see the familiar A71 and saw a modified A71 lol.

I know at one point you'd mentioned the possibility of migrating the posts lost during conversion at a later date – is that still a potential or are they gone forever to the great internet graveyard?

Well, the lost posts are a small price to pay … so far this upgrade looks a lot more functional. I cannot wait for the HIYA button because sometimes I want to acknowledge that I read something, but it doesn't necessarily warrant a whole post.

Looks like regardless of post number all the posts are only one page now? At least in the BEC study group 106 posts are all confined to one page..not a fan of that.

Also, have we lost the Ninja MCQ Trending v Actual Thread? I don't see it stickied anymore. Actually, it looks like all the previously stickied posts are no longer at the top.

@jeff – step in the right direction for sure. 20 posts per page may be a bit low, but that would be a question for the forum as a whole.

like tncincy I'm not seeing a way to get back to the forum other than hitting the cpa exam forum link at the top of the page. aside from that- any option to bring back signatures? other than that, looks like an improvement in the long run.
