    Seeing if I can manage to stay licensed after buying copious amounts of alcohol and ensuing in shenanigans that are way too inappropriate for conversation on this board. Long story short, I'm just hopeful most of it doesn't turn out to be used for bail…

    @hmesalguero No, the budget has been slashed year after year, but I knew that before I started. And a CPA isn't required for my job. For me, this is a personal goal and it will open doors in the future. Also, I won't feel as bad for leaving for better opportunities.

    Mine is paid evenly over 12 months of salary, so nothing really.

    I'm going to buy an $800 coat for me and for my wife a ring with little diamonds all over it. Save the rest I suppose.

    @Seattle – I started studying for BEC and put it on hold. I'm living in Denver for only two more months, so I am thinking I'm going to wait until I move to start studying again so that I can enjoy the summer and the city a bit more. My current plan is to take it in the beginning of October. I might get the itch to start studying sooner though, to take it in August. We'll see…

    @adele,

    I hear ya, life happens. Moving takes a lot of energy and distracts. But you are almost there, hoping to see you taking BEC soon and get over the exam. Good luck!
