It’s really not clear to me, and I think many, who actually grades these

exams. I used to think it was NASBA but have recently

read somewhere that AICPA actually grade the exam.

Another very important question is: What does it mean when

a state board says “scores are not official until validated by the state board”?

Can the state board invalidate a score it receives from NASBA?

Please respond if you have an idea about these issues.

AICPA grades them. That's why on score release day you read “today the AICPA released 8,255 BEC scores to NASBA”.also how some states are not NASBA affiliated.

I've never heard of a state invalidating a score. Perhaps if a person didn't meet the requirements of that state at that time, or committed some heinous crime.

    FAR- 77
    AUD -49, 71, 84
    REG -56,75!
    BEC -75

Massachusetts CPA (non reporting) since 3/12.
