I think a better question would be to ask if anyone DOESN'T get that way the day or two before an exam…

Have a beer, take a deep breath, and chill out. Maybe skim over your notes or listen to NINJA audio one time, and then let the rest of it go. You've done what you can do at this point.

    FAR - 79 (11/27/13)
    AUD - 76 (2/1/14)
    REG - 77 (5/30/14)
    BEC - 88 (7/18/14)

    MN Ethics - 100% (3/9/14)

    AND DONE! 8/1/14

Step away from the material and try to have a relaxation day. It really helps your mindset going into the exam. And yes–most people feel that way, myself included.

I always tell myself and to all the Doubters that ‘I Do Have A Chance in HELL with Faith Hill.' And the fact that I believe that ‘I Do Have A Chance in HELL with Faith Hill,' also helps me believe that I can pass he CPA exams.

Now back to studying and to devising an intricate plan to make Faith Hill my wife.

Came in to post right now about this. I studied for Reg 3 months started with business law and moved on to tax. Was feeling confident because i was getting 80-90s on tax ninja mcq and now just started looking over business law again to find out i pretty much dont remember any of this stuff.

My exam in July 5th on Saturday

Confidence destroyed. Its 1 am and i have work in the morning.

I have no confidence until I start doing questions. when I THINK about how much material I know, I feel like there's no possible way I could get anything above a 60. there's so, so much, and I know so little. all these IFRS things, practically every single disclosure, the format of governmental and non-profit statements, all those annoying little equity items…I know none of them.

and then I do a few sets of 20 questions and average in the low to mid 80s and I feel okay-ish. I attribute it to good luck getting easy questions, I didn't get any of the really difficult ones, I only got stuff I happened to know, etc. but I think that excuse is starting to run out. I think I might actually know quite a bit. I even know stuff I don't know. how? I don't know. you learn without noticing sometimes. learning by osmosis. it seeps into your brain.

of course, that doesn't help….still no confidence as I sit here, not doing questions.

from what i've read on how they exam the score it's not a clear cut answer of your score based on how many you get right. All answers and questions are weighted by a % of how many people get the question right etc. so there's no point imo to obsess over it bc u really have no idea what you're gonna get

It happens to us all. When I begin studying for a section, my confidence and motivation is shredded. I honestly don't feel comfortable until the last week left when I'm getting 80s on MCQs, and I feel OK about the material as a whole. Even though I know I know past material, I stress that I'll forget it while I'm learning new material.

You just have to convince yourself that things will all come together if you continue to be diligent with your studying.

    Passed all sections.

    Yes!

Blanking out a day before the exam is a right of passage of sorts and it only means one thing… you are ready. Now go take it.

    AUD - 75*, 88 done 5/14! (*exp)
    BEC - 74 , 77
    REG - 65 , 76 (10 point combooo!!)
    FAR - 69 , 75
