Because we all spend our time working, spending time with the spouse, and studying, what hobbies do you want to restart when you are done?

I am looking forward to being less stressed around my wife, learning another language, binge watching, ultimate Frisbee, etc

I really want to take up tap dancing! I know it's corny but I really think it would be fun! I would also like to get a black belt in something…

You cannot have success without failure. Success is hard. If it was easy, everyone would do it. But it's the "hard" that makes it great!

I have 3 more to go, but when I pass them I just want to read a book that I can really enjoy. I purchased all these books but I don't want to read them until I pass. I want to go out and not think ” I should be studying instead of going out for dinner” ” I spent 2 hours at the mall, I could've studied for 2 hours” I;m getting married in June in Jamaica and I'm wondering if I should bring my laptop just to not lose track. I would really like to pass the remaining 3 parts before the end of summer.

    Good luck future CPAs

I guess golf and working out for me. I gained way too much weight this past year from the lack of exercise and stress of studying for this exam.

Ooooh. I forgot how much I love puzzles. That was one of my favorite things to do before I had children that liked to put the pieces in their mouths. Yayyy–I can do that again now that the youngest is old enough to know better. I am so excited. Thanks for the reminder NJPRU!!

Used Becker online. Who needs a text when you can burn your eyes out staring at the screen for months on end?

"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't how hard you're hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!"

Like others have stated before me, I just want to do fun things without the guilt! I always have a nagging feeling in the back of my mind that I should be studying and I can't wait for that to be gone. When I finally pass all 4 parts I will definitely spend some time binge watching tv and then get back into my old habits of cooking (I'm so tired of fast food and easy meals) and going to the gym!

sleeping, not studying, relaxing, working out, distressing, getting regular massages, spending my lunch hour actually eating and enjoying my food instead of snacking on chips, cookies, and other quick junk food…( just a few off the top of my head, LMBO!).

On my way to a CPA

    #656688

I think it finally hit me that I passed when I came back from work exhausted from the commute/office BS. I went to the TV room and turned it on. Studying became so ingrained in me that I reflexively walked back to grab my CPA study materials so I could read during the commercial breaks. As I saw my Becker REG book, I realized, wait a minute. I'm done with this thing. I can watch the basketball game without having to lug this thing around!

I have so much free time now, especially since busy season is winding down, that I almost don't know what to do with myself anymore lol.
